HELP support your community
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization -- every dollar or every minute counts towards fulfilling our mission to support individuals with disabilities in enriching their lives in all aspects of life. Companies and People partner with us in many different ways. Here’s how:
Fund-A-Need (FAN) Club
The PLUS Company’s Adult Education and Socialization program is fully supported by donations and grants from the community. Without these contributions, individuals with disabilities would not have access to more than 60 classes and programs that teach skills to increase independence and allow our clients to thrive in their social lives. Fund-A-Need (FAN) Club is an opportunity for you to sponsor an individual in a particular program, such as music and art therapy, healthy living and fitness, and financial literacy and budgeting. Sponsors can make one annual payment, or set up recurring monthly payments. Learn more about FAN CLUB
We can help develop your workforce and improve workplace culture, with individual placement/customized employment and on-the-job support. On Demand group workers for large projects in manufacturing, light industrial, retail, and office support. We can develop a program model that supports and positively impacts your organization’s strategic goals. Hiring people with disabilities is a good business decision. Corporate Sponsorship Programs
Educate - Share your professional skills, hobbies, or knowledge in a classroom style environment at The PLUS Company or host us.
Communicate - Pen Pals is a great way to get involved, exchange stories, build a friendship, or just chat.
Fun – “Take me out to the ball game…” Just have some fun at a game, or go bowling, go out to eat, go for a bike ride, everyone loves having fun!
Team Sports – We are a large supporter of Special Olympics. We are always looking for coaches or volunteers. Go PLUS Pride!
Individual or Corporate Grants
Our most recent grant graciously comes from Hilton Companies for purchasing additional laptops for our Project SEARCH classroom, teaching Customer Service skills, Data Entry, Marketing and developing a quality documentary video to promote Project SEARCH.
Stay tuned for the documentary coming Spring 2017!
Your donation allows us to connect people and create partnerships around the community, and build effective programming for the people we support. 100% of our Adult Education Program is supported by your donations. Giving is easy and requires only a few minutes of your time.
DONate your time
Tell your friends and family about all the wonderful things we do and help spread the word. We are also looking people to volunteer at Special Olympics events, instructors for Adult Education courses or specialty skill building, and other areas around the organization.
